Today’s essential : Survival of Emotional Well Being..!
It is rightly said that ‘ Human beings are social animals’ , All the factors and surrounding in which they live, with whom they communicate, where they work, for whom they work, what is their lifestyle, their thought process, all these aspects impacts a lot on human mental state.
During this pandemic scenario the need of emotional well-being and having sound mental health came up as an urge to the mankind. For the Man, to be an achiever and a good creature he must have the strong emotional backup and mental well-being. Daily, we hear the cases of mental imbalance in the society; social isolation, stress handling capacities are getting at its worst. So it is high time, we as humans should work upon our emotional well-being as well in order to live a Happy and contentful life. Both physical health and mental health goes hand in hand. One can eagerly opt for the gym and be ready to go through a tough diet plan for the sake of maintaining good physique, but how much do we actually concern about our emotional health? One needs to be physically strong to hold their mental wellness at utmost priority.
Mental health mainly deals with maintaining our psychological and emotional well-being
It is not always easy to define, but it mainly focuses on the social well-being of a person, how they feel and react to a particular situation, how they cope up with stress and disasters. What are the consequences of ones thoughts and judgement of the outer world, how does it affect this thought process to live the healthy life. At every twist of living the emotional well-being comes in to picture. One need to be strong enough to hold his or her mental state in a balanced way at each phase of life. Be it childhood, teenage, adult or aging.
There are many factors that affect behavioral health:
- Psychological factors such as change in biochemical hormones.
- Bad experiences in life, traumatized state or any accident long lasting physical illness etc.
- Family background, environment in family, medical history of family.
- Way of living, physical activities, diet you are following, lifestyle practices, mingling with people, kind of company you keep.
Emotional well-being leads to happy minds:
We can opt for some daily habits, good positive outlook which in turn boost up our mental health. A person to live with strong and healthy emotional state he or she must be free from stress, anxiety, depression. He or she must be ready to accept the new challenges: face them, over come the stress, build new relationships and preserve the previous ones, and overcome all the challenges that comes as an obstacle in his or her happy life.
Monitor your self:
Keep the watch at your daily behaviour, your reactions to different people. Monitor which things make you feel sad ,low, frustrated, angry so that you can try to relocate your feelings from sad mind state to happy mindset by observing and mending up the things at your level.
Express your way:
Try to open up, mainly to the whom you are comfortable with, at your closed one’s, friends or some times just to dot down your thoughts with pen and paper which eventually leaves a great impact on your thoughts share process, just don’t keep the things up to you, don’t hesitate to share, don’t fear of any judgements.
Listen, think and then react:
Always make a habit of listening for better expression of your thoughts. At times you may react in a manner which may hamper your social status and afterwards you regret on your behavior so never rush up, be calm and take a time to think and then react to the situation in positive manner.
Keep Balance in actions:
Always have time away from work to enjoy with your loved ones and friends. It always help to cope up from stress. Go for soothing hobbies like singing or playing any musical instrument as music heals with all its great deals. Just with work keep your relaxation phase on.
Exercise daily: Take care of your physical fitness as healthy mind resides in healthy body. Have healthy diet plan, also take daily 8 hours sleep in order to have fresh start every day.
Connect with people:
Mingle around, go for coffee, lunch, outings with your near one’s or the person who make you happy. It’s all the way nice to say hi to everyone.
Forgive yourself and stop judging:
Being judgemental at our glance always obstruct our self growth. We should stop judging and try to forgive others and ourselves for not always making the right decisions. Yes it is all ok to not be ok sometimes.
What are the signs of emotionally strong and mentally healthy people?
- A satisfying attitude towards life.
- A desire to feel lively and happy while having fun.
- Coordination in the form of actions.
- A purposeful and goal oriented life, whose attitude should reflect in their work and actions.
- Prepare to adapt in order to survive and grow in the right directions.
- Balance at every prospect like social, professional or personal environments.
- Ability to build up healthy relationships with people around.
Our body always react to the inner and outer situations. Each and every cell of our body is trying to survive in every possible way. It is our responsibility to take up and understand the call, and work accordingly. There is nothing as such like disappointments, depression, anxiety, sadness etc that we can’t fight. We can always fight with all our soul and energy with these obstacles coming to our way. No matter how many times we fail to take up plight, always have no worries because we can always bounce back in the stadium of happy life. So, a toast for happy and healthy life forever. Cheers..!
