Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul
Up for the epic fight…!

Sunday night, June 6th 2021, 8PM EST at Hard Rock Stadium, Florida, when undefeated boxing champ Floyd Mayweather will be seen in the ring against social media sensation, Logan Paul. Although Mayweather considers Paul as a fake fighter and unworthy of the ring, the fight is still going to sell millions of pay per views, where both combatants will be earning huge revenues. 

The pay-per-view streaming will also start at 8PM EST and you can purchase the slot for $49.99 through Showtime or Fanmio, to watch it live on your TV or mobile phone etc.  However, 25,000 boxing enthusiasts are expected to watch it live in the stadium.

There will be eight rounds, three minutes each and there will be no judge for this match as told by Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Although knockout will be allowed and determined at the discretion of the referee. Both combatants will be wearing 10 ounce gloves while headgear is prohibited. However, Paul is 6 inch taller than Mayweather, but he can’t weigh more than 190 pounds for this match.

The fight is getting a hype since Mayweather, retired after thrashing MMA world champion Conor McGregor, said he would be glad to fight Logan Paul and his brother on the same night. But what made him even consider fighting Paul after retirement?

It escalated after a news conference where they confronted each other’s ugly controversies. Afterwards, Logan’s brother Jake snatched Floyd’s white cap which led to a crowded brawl in the event. Mayweather was found quite upset after this disrespectful act and we can already imagine the aggression he may unveil. 

Floyd Mayweather is 44 years old and the undisputed boxing champion with a record of 50-0 so far. He is also famous for his super swanky lifestyle as he is one of the highest paid athletes claiming $1.2 Billion earnings in his career. No wonder he earned the nickname “Money”. He has also been to jail for 2 years in 2012, for assaulting his wife Jossie Harris who died recently because of mixed drug toxicity.

On the other hand, 26 years old Logan Paul got famous on the video sharing app Vine, after which he dropped out of college to make a career as an entertainer. After Vine was shut down in 2016, he has emerged with Youtube and Instagram having millions of subscribers and followers. He has also started his career as a professional boxer with a record of 0-1 after losing to KSI in 2019.

It is clearly obvious as it sounds that this fight is going to be inclined more towards entertainment. Mayweather has even likened this fight to a “legalized bank robbery”, whereas Paul also seems to be very confident after being trained in Puerto Rico. Paul has even sarcastically said that he will retire soon after beating Mayweather, and won’t give him a second chance.

So when Mayweather says “it’s not going to be a real fight for me, it’s going to be a real fight for him”, and that he has retired from boxing but not from entertainment or making money, we clearly get the hint that this fight is going to be pretty much exciting, until we hear the sound KO. After all, we’re at least going to see Mayweather in the ring again.
